Karlshochschule International University

The Karlshochschule International University was founded in 2004 as a business school and, since 2005, pursues a highly international, practice-orientated, and close to the market teaching philosophy strongly influenced bythe private industry. The master and all eight bachelor degree programs are accordingly sector- and future-orientated.

The institution's declared goal is to qualify young students for the taking over of management and leading functions in the economic system and society. The Karlshochschule would like to be a job-qualifying stepping stone for its students – a prosperous path towards a successful professional future and a wide, academic horizon. The high value set on quantitative research is equally set on qualitative research methods.

The Karlshochschule makes its skills available to the public via the Karlshochschule Management Institut and organises the public and free event series „Karlsgespräche“. In doing so, the Karlshochschule International University has created a platform that encourages the exchange of sociopolitically interesting topics.

Every semester the university invites top-class speakers from the sectors of science, politics, culture, religion and economy to give a lecture followed by a shared discussion.
